BIG LAKE: Jackie Erline Chesnut Dison, 86, passed away on Saturday, September 18, 2010 in Austin.
Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at the Glen Rest Cemetery in Big Lake with Reverend Randy Bush officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of Crane.
Jackie was born April 18, 1924 in Santo, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Big Lake and was a loving wife and mother. Jackie was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in eternal life by her husband, Otis Smead Dison; her son, Ed Dison; and two brothers.
Survivors include a son, Don Dison and his wife, Lynne of Round Rock, TX; her daughter, Judi Dison Midkiff and her husband Pete of Austin; her daughter in law, Jean Dison of Rankin; 9 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
