Iva E. Busby, 74, of Crane, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2013, at the Crane Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 17, 2013, at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Fox officiating. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM on Monday, August 19, 2013, at the White Church Cemetery in Harrison, Arkansas.
Iva was born on January 10, 1939, in Boone County, Arkansas to John and Frances Stewart. She graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1958. She married Robert D. Busby on September 13, 1960 in Belle Plaine, Kansas. Iva was a custodian at Crane Independent School District for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband Robert Busby of Crane; her daughter Cynthia A. Busby of Crane; son, Robert D. " Buster" Busby Jr. of Crane; daughter Cheryl L. Gravens and husband Dru of Crane. Grandchildren include, KaLeigh Fox Early, Kelton Don Gravens, Cody Dean Pierce, Alix Pierce, and BaLeigh Moore. Great grandchildren include Emma Early, Auden Pierce, and Kolton Lane Burrow. She is also survived by her siblings Virginia Mae Pratt, Ernest Thomas Stewart, John Edward Stewart, Floyd Joseph Stewart, Ross Alstin Stewart, James William Stewart, and Kathy Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
