Howard Ray Marshall Jr., 65, of Fort Stockton, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2012 at the Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Graveside services will be held at 11am on Friday, March 23, 2012 at the Crane County Cemetery with Minister Felix Kneuper officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of Crane.
Howard was born on December 12, 1946 in McCamey, Texas. He was retired from the oilfield, and had lived in Fort Stockton since 1996, moving from Ozona. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Howard enjoyed playing bingo at the VFW Eagles lodge in Fort Stockton; and he loved to fish and play poker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Ray Marshall Sr., and Alice Crawford Campbell Marshall; and a brother, Jackie.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnne; three sons, Joe, Mark, and Matthew; his daughter, Angie;
five sisters, Ruby, Gloria, Sally, Bernetta, and Treva; six brothers, Monroe Allen "Pee Wee", Kenneth, Jerry, Terry, K.C., and Bobby Joe; ten grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
