Guadalupe Ramirez, 95, of McCamey, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019, at the McCamey Convalescent Center.
Guadalupe was born on July 29, 1924, in Mercedes, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the El Buen Pastor Iglesia Baptista in McCamey. Guadalupe loved to crochet, read her Bible, and was a wonderful cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Ramirez; three brothers, three sisters, and three grandsons.
Survivors include her children: Christina Melchor of McCamey, Estella Florez of New Braunfels, Guadalupe Ramirez Jr. and his wife Luz Elena of McCamey, Luisa Moreno and her husband Paul of Dumas, and Juan Ramirez and his wife Minnie of Crane.
Also surviving are 19 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren, and 26 great great grandchildren.
Brothers and sisters include Arturo Garcia and his wife Lucilla of Lubbock, Eva Garcia of Marble Falls, Joe V. Garcia and his wife Socorro of Edinburg, Ayda Lujan and her husband Arturo of Panhandle, Elida Flores and her husband Jose of Canyon, Juanita Hernandez and her husband Alvin of Johnson City, Roberto Garcia and his wife Elida of Edinburg, and Rojelio Garcia of Boise, Idaho.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Monday, December 30, 2019, at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Basilio Montes officiating. Burial followed in the Crane County Cemetery.
