Gerald Lee Woodruff Sr., 82, of Crane, passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018, at his home.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at the Crane County Cemetery with Pastor Tim King officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Gerald was born on October 12, 1936, in Albany, Texas. He served in the United States Marine Corp from 1957 until 1960. He was a retired construction manager in the oilfield, and had lived in Tomball, Texas for 22 years. Gerald was a Christian.
He loved to work outside and always had a beautiful yard with flowers and trees.
Gerald was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Woodruff.
He is survived by his son, Gerald Lee Woodruff Jr. and his wife Jerri Ann of Malakoff, TX; two daughters, Debra Lewis and her husband David of Crane, and Gay Dalton and her husband Robert of Deer Park, TX; a brother, Robert Woodruff of Arlington; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter.
