Gennetta Ann Wilcox

Gennetta Ann Wilcox, 82, of Crane, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023, at the Focus Care of Crane Nursing Center.

Gennetta was born on October 27, 1940, in Texarkana, Texas.  She had lived in Crane since 1991.

Gennetta loved life and her favorite things were drinking coffee, peppermint candy, and her dog Fiti.  She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her loving husband Joe, he was everything to her.

Gennetta was preceded in death by her husband Joe Wilcox; mother, Mosie Mosier; sisters, Lafreeda and Betty; brother, Cloys; and granddaughter, Chasity.

She is survived by her son, James Witt and his wife Angela of Lubbock; three daughters, Suzie Wilcox of New Castle, OK, Mitzie Campbell of Lubbock, and Pennie Henderson and her husband Brad of Midland; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.

Graveside services will be held at 10am on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at the Crane County Cemetery with Reverend Tommy Parker officiating. 

Memorials can be made St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or to the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas.
