Frank Mulkey, 86, of Stanton, passed away on May 22, 2024 in McCamey, Texas.
The memorial service will be at 3 pm, Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home in Crane, Texas.
Frank was born in Willard, New Mexico, to Albert and Effie Mulkey on March 3, 1938 He went to school in Corna, New Mexico. He married Mary Ellen Wilson on September 9, 1961, in Corna, New Mexico. He was a truck driver for several crude oil transport services over 38 years. He served in the Navy and participated in the Cuban blockade during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was awarded a Good Conduct Medal and several letters of commendation. Frank Mulkey is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Mulkey, mother Effie Mulkey, father Albert Mulkey, and sister Ellen Means.
Frank is survived by daughter Diane Rust, son Darryl Mulkey and his wife Lydia, son Danny Mulkey, his brother Lee Mulkey and his wife Patsy, his niece Adis Means, nephews Steve Mulkey, Scott Mulkey, Tommy Mulkey, grandsons Andrew Mulkey, Craig Hunt, Skyler Mulkey, Grandaughters, Samantha Saenz, Brittiney Gomez Edwards, Alyson Masterson, Kayla Rust, Mary Kaschak, Noel Rosales, and Amanda Kashak, 13 great-grandchildren, and Buddy, his grand dog.
