Frances R. Dunn

Frances Ruth Dunn, 79, of Odessa, TX was born May 19, 1934 in Streetman Texas to JW and Minnie Cowart. In 1951 she married Jimmie Joe Dunn. They raised their two girls Carol and Teresa in Odessa, TX. Frances was a long term manager and part owner of Bob's Burger Bonanza. She and her husband Jim moved to Robert Lee, TX in 1993 where they were members of Pecan Baptist Church. After losing her husband in 2006, she moved back to Odessa and lived the remainder of her life with her companion, L.S. "Bud" Dickerson.

Frances is survived by her companion of 8 years, L.S. "Bud" Dickerson; two daughters, Carol Harper of Odessa, Texas and Teresa Moore of Big Lake, Texas; five grandchildren, Carla Boxell, Joe Gresham, Gina Davidson, Amber Oglesby, and Amanda Winters; and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by the family of Bud Dickerson, David and Jeneece Morgan and Brian and Gayla Reimer whom she loved as her own family, as well as her sister Joy Adair of Midland, TX, and many other nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at Pecan Baptist Church in Robert Lee, TX at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2013, with burial to follow at Paint Creek Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Susie Hatcher, Dessie Kendall, Melinda Sasser and Joann Clifton for the lifelong friendship in which they provided.

Also a very special thank you to her nurse Molly for the amazing love and care she gave to Frances and her family.
