FOUNTAIN BAUCHAM
McCAMEY: Fountain Baucham was born on November 6, 1914 to the late Rod and Susie (Kelly) Baucham in Coffeyville, Texas.
He lived the majority of his life in McCamey, Texas. He met and married Gradie Lee Jackson on January 30, 1940. To this union seven children were born.
Mr. Baucham was employed for Shell Oil Company for 38 years.
He went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, December 31, 2008.
He was preceded in his homegoing by his wife: Gradie Lee Baucham, and stepson: Donald Baucham, Sr, and two brothers, and four sisters.
He leaves to cherish his memory three daughters: Rachel (Sue) Williams of San Angelo, Texas, Janis Womack of McCamey, Texas, and Melinda Woods of Andrews, Texas. Four sons: Milan Baucham, Sr of Los Angeles, California, Chester Baucham of Odessa, Texas, Albert Baucham of Houston, Texas, and Kelly Baucham of San Angelo, Texas. Eighteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 8th, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in McCamey with Reverend Billy Neal officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of McCamey.
