Felix G. Cedillo, 91, of Iraan, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2014, at the Iraan General Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 10AM on Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at the Iraan Community Church. Burial will follow in the Restland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Felix was born on March 31, 1923, in Mexico. He had lived in Iraan since 2013, moving from Del Rio. He was a true cowboy, and had worked on ranches in Colorado City, Stephenville, and Palo Pinto County. Felix loved spending time with his family, and enjoyed attended the Iraan Community Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Purification Cecillo on February 2, 2014; and his son, Ramiero Cedillo in 2010.
He is survived by his three sons, Julio Cedillo of Mexico, Felix Cedillo, Jr. of Mason, TX, and Raymundo Cedillo of Del Rio; three daughters, Gloria Hernandez of Dallas, Purification “Shorty†Torres, and Christina Rios, both of Iraan; three brothers, Ernest Cedillo and Juan Cedillo both of Mexico, and Lelo Cedillo of Dallas; 24 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
