EULOGIO "PETE" RAMON, JR.
McCAMEY: Eulogio "Pete" Ramon Jr., 67 of Rancho Cordova, California and formerly of McCamey, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at his home.
Rosary will be said at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Laurent Mvondo officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Robert Marquez Jr., Antonio Aranda Jr., Michael Villa, Vidal Ramon, Daniel Perez, Gabriel Marquez, Noe Marquez, and Leroy Marquez.
Pete was born on April 28, 1943 in Fort Stockton, Texas. He had lived in Rancho Cordova for the past 36 years, moving there from McCamey. He was a Veteran, serving in the Army. He was a gardener, and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lucy Ramon of Rancho Cordova, CA; three sons, Gerard Ramon, and Vidal Ramon both of Rancho Cordova, CA, and Mark Ramon of Fresno, CA; six brothers, Salvador Ramon, Juan Ramon, and Manuel Ramon all of Odessa, Frank Ramon of Utah, Oscar Ramon of Monahans, and Michael Ramon of Midland; one sister Lupe Phillips of Lovington, NM; 11 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, and nephews.
