Edelmira “Eddie” Mota Montelongo Johnson Green, 89 passed away December 15, 2022.

 

Eddie was born in 1933 in Cuidad Victoria, Tamualipas, Mexico.  She married Edward Charles Johnson in 1952, while he was in the army. In 1956, Gulf moved the family to Crane, Texas.  Eddie moved to her current home in Gulf Camp in 1960. Her husband Edward Johnson died in 1973, from an auto accident.

 

Eddie married John Henry Green in 1975.  Together they started the National Foundry which is still in operation today.

 

Eddie is survived by her children Sandra Staggs (Forest Staggs deceased) of Conway, Arkansas, and Charles Johnson (Sherry Kay Johnson deceased) of Midland, Texas. She has five grandchildren and one great grandson. 

 

Graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 21st at 11:00 am at the Crane Cemetery.
