Ed Gallion, 82, of Crane, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2011, at his home in Crane.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 22, 2011, at the Crane Country Club with Reverend Tommy Parker officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of Crane.
Ed was born on May 26, 1929, in Victoria, Virginia. He had lived in Crane since 1959 and was a retired Petroleum Geologist for Gulf Oil Corporation for 24 years. He was an Army Veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict. Ed was a believer in Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Puzz Gallion of Crane; four children, Lisa Ann Dillman of Amarillo, Audwin Gallion and his wife Penny, Thea Lynn Gallion, and Jill René Smith and her husband Kenny, all of Crane; a brother, Robert Gallion of Keysville, Virginia; two sisters, Emily Roberts of Bracey, Virginia, and Elaine Hall of LaCrosse, Virginia; 9 grandchildren, Lauren Goad, Kara Dillman, Alyssa Cooper, Courtney Gallion, Kaitlyn Gallion, Kelly Blackwood, Kevin Blackwood, Jarod Smith, and Josh Smith; 5 great-grandchild, McKenzi, E.V., Gus, Grace, McKenna; and numerous nieces, and nephews.
