Dorothy L. Galloway, 90, of Kingsland, and formerly of Crane, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2012 in Kingsland.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Crane County Cemetery with Reverend Lyndel Lee officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Dorothy was born on June 26, 1921 in Abilene, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church. She was a longtime resident of Crane, and she loved to paint.
She was preceded in death by her husband Cliff, son Jimmy, daughter Barbie, and grandson James.
Survivors include her son, William C. Galloway and his wife Barbara; 4 grandchildren, Becky and Steve Brents, Cynthia and Daniel Tilley, Billy and Kathy Galloway, and Jason Galloway; 15 great grandchildren, Phillip and Jamie Tilley, Paula and Kris Taylor, Melissa and Matthew Mair, Michael and Amber Tilley, Tiffany and Richard Davis, Brandon Galloway, Kristen and Robert Miller, James and Meagan Galloway, Stephen Galloway, Maddie Galloway, Allie Galloway, Britney, Josie Galloway, George Galloway, and Clay Galloway; 20 great-great grandchildren, Chelcie Taylor, Camery Taylor, Thomas Tilley, Tyler Tilley, Timmy Tilley, Andrew Davis, Matthew Mair, Myah Mair, Abbie Tilley, Devon Tilley, Payton Tilley, McKensie Galloway, Gavin Galloway, Kylie Galloway, Brecken Galloway, Chloe Townsend, Sarah Miller, Gage Miller, Ryan Miller, and Emry Galloway; three sisters, Debbie Hutton, Diana Jones, and Donna Lou Jones; and two brothers, Curtis Jones and David Jones.
