Dicksy Marlene Montoya, 90, of Crane Tx, passed away on January 5th, 2023 surrounded by her family and a few close friends.
Dicksy was born in Kimble County to Frank and Marie Price of London Tx on September 15th, 1932. She attended London Schools being the last senior class to graduate from London High School.
She was married to G.W. Hardesty of London Tx. They had five children together.
She found “The Love Of Her Life” TC Allen and got married on February the 8th, 1968. He preceded her in death July 19th, 1988.
She then married Epifanio Montoya June 1991 - December 2008.
Dicksy was well known and loved by the community of Crane. She was known as a woman of faith, who walked in any place with such Grace, Class and Dignity. Dicksy well maintained and succeeded in several entrepreneur adventures throughout her life. She Retired her full time businesses in May of 1995. She enjoyed spending her free time at her ranch in Kimble County. You could find her most Wednesdays and Sundays at her home church, Tabernacle Baptist, where she enjoyed her second family.
She was preceded by many and is survived by the following pride and joy, her five children. Gerald Hardesty of Ingleside Tx. Gayland Hardesty of London Tx. Karen and husband Michael Phillips of London Tx. Jay and Chandra Hardesty of Odessa Tx. David and his wife Gwendolyn Hardesty of Pagosa Springs Co. Her Blessed Grandchildren- Jodi Patterson, Jerry Hardesty, John Hardesty, JaCinda and her husband Brandon Wallace, Darren and his wife Myra Hardesty, Dana and her husband John Johns, TraCie Wright, William Shelton, Jaci and her husband Randall Rich, Rachel and her husband JT Hawkins, Richie Summers, Brian Summers and Christyana Hardesty. 33 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Public Viewing will be held Monday, January 9th, at The Shaffer Nichols Funeral Home from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
Services will be held at First Baptist Church In Crane Tx on Tuesday, January 10th, at 2:00 PM with Pastor Tim King officiating. Graveside Services to follow.
