Diane Petree

Diane Leslie Petree, 49, of Midland, and formerly of Crane, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at the Midland Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Crane. Burial will follow in the Crane County Cemetery.

Diane was born on September 3, 1967, in Raton, New Mexico. She was a graduate of Crane High School, and she was a homemaker. Diane married Gerry Petree on May 17, 1985, in Crane. She enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and loved animals. However, her children and her grandchildren was what she enjoyed and loved the most.

Diane is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Gerry Eugene Petree of Midland; her children, Cory Eugene Petree of Monahans; and Tosha Kay Lopez of Odessa; her parents, Bill and Sharon Richardson of Crane; and three grandchildren, Ethan Ray Lopez, Cash Eugene Petree, and Ellie Mae Petree.
