Diamantina “Tina” Campos

April 9, 1959 – August 16, 2022

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of our mother, Diamantina “Tina” Campos, who lost her battle with cancer this morning.  She has been battling this disease for some time now, so we are comforted by the fact that she is no longer suffering.

She was very loved by the community of Crane as she worked in the school cafeteria for 24 years.  She was loving and kindhearted to everyone she knew.  Tina will be missed but never forgotten.

Tina is survived by her loving husband Omero Campos, Sr; her two sons, Omero Campos, Jr. and Andres Campos; her daughter, Christina Campos; daughter-in law, Stephanie Campos; and numerous grandchildren.  She is also survived by her siblings, Berta Teague, Raul and JoElda Barragan, Mary and Mario Sotelo, George and Lydia Barragan, Roman and Maricela Barragan, Robert and Araceli Barragan, and Rosalinda and Jesse Gonzales.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Guadalupe Barragan, siblings Miguel Barragan and Mary Hinojosa, and son, Efrain Campos.

Rosary will be held at 7:00pm on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Chapel in Crane.  Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church with burial to follow in the Crane County Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Omero B. Campos Jr., Andres Campos, Omero Campos III, Orlando Campos, David Dominguez, and Joshua Huertas.
