Deni Marquez

Deni T. Marquez, 48, of Crane, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2014 in Odessa.
Rosary was held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Father Joseph Uecker officiating. Burial will follow in the Crane County Cemetery with arrangements under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Deni was born on October 31, 1965, in Mexico. She was a homemaker. She married Manuel Marquez on September 30, 1989. Deni had lived in Crane for 17 years. She was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church. She enjoyed walking at the track. She was always friendly, never meeting a stranger. Deni loved spending time with her family, and she loved to cook.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and a nephew.
Deni is survived by her husband, Manuel Marquez of Crane; two daughters, Vikki Marquez and Amberly Marquez, both of Crane; four brothers, Sergio Tercero of Crane, Pedro Tercero of Ojinaga, Mexico, Ramon Tercero of Presidio, and Israel Tercero of California; two sisters, Irma Campos and Angelina Galindo, both of Crane; two special nephews that were like her sons, Valois Tercero of Odessa, and Auden Hinostroza of San Angelo; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
