Delma Ann Ramirez Duddleston, 50, of Rankin, and formerly of Austin, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2016, in Rankin.
Rosary will be held at 7pm on Monday, September 5, 2016, at the Park Building in Rankin. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, at the Park Building with Father Prem officiating. Burial will follow in the Rankin Cemetery with services under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Delma was born on May 18, 1966, in Rankin. She attended Rankin Schools, and graduated from McCamey High School. She had lived in Austin for 25 years prior to moving back to Rankin two years ago.
Delma worked as a medical assistant at the Austin Heart Center in Austin. Delma enjoyed time with her family and friends. She was very outgoing and had a great sense of humor. Delma was a very caring person and was well loved by everyone and by everyone she came in contact with. She loved to dance, and loved Facebook. Delma was a member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, George Ramirez.
Survivors include her husband Michael Duddleston of Big Spring;
her son, Andrew Gonzalez of Rankin; her mother and step father, Erlinda and Crecencio Rodriguez of Rankin; brothers, George Ramirez Jr. and his wife Linda of Abilene, Texas, and Johnny Ramirez and his wife Tiffany of Chicago, IL; a sister, Amy Guerrero and her husband Jr. of San Antonio; three step brothers, Jr. Rodriguez and his wife Anna of Midland, Mathew Ramirez and his wife Marina, of McCamey, and Chris Ramirez and his wife Destinee of McCamey; two step sisters, Cris Curtis and her husband Rob of Dallas, TX, and Marisa Rodriguez and husband Orlando of McCamey; several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and her loving dog, Sugar.
