Debra Sue Lanning, 54, of Kermit, and formerly of Crane, and Jal, NM, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2014, in Andrews.
Graveside services were held at 10am on Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at the Crane County Cemetery with Reverend Tommy Parker officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Debra was born on August 10, 1959, in Odessa, Texas. She had lived in Kermit for the past 15 years. She was an operator for the Kermit Answering Service. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. The most important thing to her was spending time with her grandchildren. Debra was a NASCAR fan, and collected antique Coke a Cola memorabilia. Debra was Baptist.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene Lanning of Crane; her daughter, Misty Ramos of Kermit; a son, Daniel Lanning of Andrews; her mother, Treva Bacon of Crane; three brothers, Chuck Bacon of Crane, Tombo Bacon of Houston, and Jimbo Bacon of Dallas; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
