McCamey: David Floyd Brown, 62 of McCamey, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2010 in Denton.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 5, 2010 at the First Assembly of God Church in McCamey. Arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Mr. Brown was born on July 31, 1948 in Kermit, Texas. He married Zenaida Valles in 1975 in McCamey. He was a retired truck driver for Plains and had lived in McCamey most all of his life. David was a Baptist.
David is survived by his wife, Zenaida Brown of McCamey; three sons, Donald Brown of Ponder, TX, Franklin Ray Brown of Denton, TX, and Jesus Valles of McCamey, TX; a daughter, Mary Stonecipher of Denton, TX; one brother, Jim Brown of Temple, TX; and one sister, Linda Stone of Grand Prairie, TX; 10 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
