DANNY RAY HUBBARD

CRANE: Danny Ray Hubbard, age 55 passed away on Wednesday, October 15th after a long and courageous battle with Mantle Cell Lymphoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe L. and Anna Lea Hubbard and father and mother-in-law, Charles and Bettie McNurlen, all of Crane, TX.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 pm Friday, October 17, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Crane with Reverend Tommy Parker officiating. Burial will follow in the Crane County Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.

Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years, Sandy. Son Matt and daughter-in-law Janette Hubbard of Corinth, TX, son Dusty Hubbard of Corinth, TX, and son Charlie and daughter-in-law Debbie Hubbard of Crane, TX. The grandchildren he loved dearly, Coby, Lane and Maddie Hubbard; Caleb and Cambry Hubbard.
Sister Gloria and brother-in-law Dale Kershner of Midland, TX. Sister JoAnn and brother-in-law Willie Stumberg of Crane, TX and brother-in-law Bill Brite of Crane, TX. Nephew Jason and wife Kat Johnson of Great Falls, Montana, nephew Jeremy Johnson of Phoenix, AZ , niece DeeAnn Johnson and Eric Rosette of San Jose, CA. Danny Ray is also survived by numerous friends and family.

Danny Ray retired from Arco after 25 years of service and then continued as a consultant for BP America for the last 7 years.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren; teaching Coby and Lane how to drive, fishing with his boys, as well as Maddie and Caleb, and teaching Cambry how to swim in the backyard pool.

His family will miss him dearly but will continue to love him in our hearts forever.
