Curtiss Dale Chipman

Curtiss Dale Chipman battled his illness with strength and grace. He passed away peacefully on April 15, 2023 surrounded by family at his daughters home.

Curtiss was born in Millsap, Texas on May 2, 1935. He attended Crane High School from 1950-1954. He was involved in basketball, band and was Senior Class Favorite. Curtiss retired from El Paso Natural Gas Company with 30 plus years. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Klondike Cougars fan. Curtiss was a member of the 6th & Jackson Street Church of Christ in Odessa, Texas. He loved the Lord and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Curtiss was preceded in death by his daughter Deborah Renee Chipman, his parents Claudie “Slim” Chipman and Clotee “Martha” Chipman, and his son-in-law Russell “Buddy” Stuteville.
