Bill Cook, 56 of Crane, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Crane with Reverend Craig DeArmond officiating. Burial will follow in the Crane County Cemetery with arrangements under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Bill was born on May 19, 1954 in Marshfield, Missouri. He had lived in Crane since 1980. He was a member of the Latter Rain Worship Center in Odessa, and was a truck driver for Nabors.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Rufus and Mary Lou Palmer Cook; a brother Ron Cook; brother-in-law, Mike Vandall; and sister-in-law, Dolly Hudgins.
Survivors include his wife, Jannie Cook of Crane; two sons, Joe Cook of Odessa, and Josh Cook of Crane; one brother, LeRoy Cook and his wife Virginia of Odessa; four sisters, Doris Letterman and her husband Ronald, Debbie Atteberry and her husband Randy all of Marshfield, Missouri, Linda Box and her husband Paul of Otterville, Missouri, Lisa Eddy also of Marshfield, Missouri; sister-in-laws, Greta Cook of Marshfield, Missouri, Brenda Hurtle and her husband Steve of Killeen, Texas, and Polly Lancon and her husband Wayne of Milton, Florida; mother and father-in-law, Burt and Betty Larson of Pace, Florida.
