Benigno Jimenez Garcia, Sr.

Mr. Benigno Garcia, Senior, of Crane, Texas, passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of ninety-one at his home.

Mr. Garcia was born on February 13th of 1932 in San Carlos, Coahuila, Mexico. He married Petra Torres  Vasquez on August 5, 1962. They were married for sixty-one years.  Mr. Garcia worked as a ranch hand in Ozona and in Comstock, Texas, and came to Crane and worked in the oilfield industry until his retirement. 

Mr. Garcia is survived by his wife Petra Garcia, and three sons: Alfonso Garcia of Bastrop, Texas,  Benigno Garcia, Jr. of Crane, Texas, and Alfredo Martinez Garcia of Denton, Texas, and three daughters: Mary Garza of Crane, Rosalinda Rodriquez of Ozona, Texas, and Sylvia Weis of Amarillo, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Garcia have twenty grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren.

Mr. Garcia is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, five sisters, and his granddaughter, Ida Lynn Aguilar.
