Baltazar Puentes Rodriguez

Baltazar Puentes Rodriguez, age 81 of McCamey, Texas was called to be home with our Lord and Savior at his home on September 23, 2023. He was born in El Ojito, Mx on August 11, 1942 to Rumlado and Simona Rodriguez. He then went on to marry the love of his life, Pilar Quíntela of La Victoria, Mexico where they shared their love for 59 years. One of his biggest accomplishments was, he travel to Washington DC to show his showcase of homemade crafts. Baltazar worked as a ranch hand for a Hartman‘s Farms in Bakersfield, Texas for 18 years. He then went on to retire and spent most of his time outside, working on his hobbies, making knives, recycling cans, and playing cards with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rumaldo and his mother Simona Rodriguez. His twin brother Gaspar Rodriguez, and Son Gaspar Rodriguez and daughter Marina Rodriguez.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pilar Rodriguez of McCamey, Tx. His daughter, Francisca and husband, Rene Acosta of Odessa, Texas. His son and wife, Irene Rodriguez of Monahans, Texas. His daughter, Juana, and husband, Carlos lujan of McCamey, Texas. His son Homero of McCamey, Texas and wife, Yessica Rodriguez of Ojinaga, Mexico. His daughter, Minerva, and husband Genero Rodriguez of Midland, Texas. His Daughter Marina and husband Matthew Ramirez of McCamey ,Texas. Daughter Érica Rodriguez of McCamey, Texas. Son Isael Rodríguez of Terlingua, Texas. Daughter Edith Rodriguez of Odessa,Texas. His 30 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

Viewing will be held at the Apostolic church in McCamey, Texas on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 7 o’clock. Funeral services will be held at the Apostolic church at 10 o’clock am on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. Interment will follow at Resthaven cemetery with arrangements under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of McCamey.
