ARTIE FERN MANSELL
CRANE: Artie Fern Mansell, 80 of Crane, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at the Crane Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 12, 2009 at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Mike Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Crane County Cemetery with arrangements under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of Crane.
She was born on September 28, 1928. She was a longtime resident of Crane; and a retired bookkeeper for Southern Union Gas Company. She was a member of the Mary Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include her two daughters, Julia Chaney and her husband Michael of Hobbs, NM, and Leslie Mansell of Los Alamos, NM; a son, Art Mansell of Crane; a brother, Paul Henderson, Jr. of Midland, TX; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
