Antonio Valdez Quintero

Antonio Valdez Quintero, 83, of Iraan, went home to be with his heavenly father on Saturday, December 07, 2013, at Midland Memorial Hospital in Midland, Texas.
Antonio was born on March 10, 1930 in Villaunion, Coahuila, Mexico. He worked as a ranch hand in his early years and thereafter, in the well service industry.
He married Ninfa Rivera on August 8, 1954. He lived in Marfa, Bakersfield, and Sheffield, before settling in Iraan.
Survivors include sons, Antonio Quintero Jr. and his wife Tommie, of Midland, and Simon Quintero and his wife Minnie, of Iraan; his daughter, Juanita Ortiz and her husband, Richard of Odessa. He had 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ninfa; and daughters, Sylvia and Ramona.
He will be dearly missed.
