Annette Ellison

Annette Grace (Staffaroni) Ellison, 48, crossed under the green flag January 13, 1962 and crossed under the checkered flag for the last time on June 20, 2010.
Annette and her young family moved to Crane, Texas in 1984 from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was as dedicated to her family as she was to her nursing career at all levels of her profession. Annette worked hard and earned a Master's Degree in Nursing and in Business. She had a long and adventurous nursing career.
In her spare time she enjoyed racing the Legends class race cars with her husband and two sons. In 2009 she won Rookie of the Year, and her car won Best in Show for Legends Class of West Texas. She also enjoyed camping and fishing.
She was a loving and dedicated wife of 29 years to Kent L. Ellison, devoted mother to Jeffrey (Afton) Ellison (Crane,Tx) and Patrick (Lydia) Ellison (Odessa, Tx.), loving "Me Maw" to Shannyn and soon to be grandson Chevy Joe. She is also survived by her mother Edith Rollins (Wisconsin), sister Theresa(Dave) Pritchert (Wisconsin), sister Diana(Mark) Marsh (Florida), and brother James(Donna) Staffaroni (Wisconsin), mother and father in law Frank and Marilynn Ellison (Wisconsin), sisters and brothers in law, nieces ,nephews ,and many others.
Services will be held at Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Homes & Chapel in Crane, Texas on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 starting with a viewing at 10:00am and ending with the funeral at 2:00pm. The Reverend B Wimberley will be officiating.
