Alicia DeLeon, 69 of McCamey, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2011 at the McCamey Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11am on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at the First Assembly of God Church in McCamey with Reverend David Snodgrass officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of McCamey.
Alicia was born on December 20, 1941 in Sanderson, Texas. She was a homemaker and had lived in McCamey since 1971. She was a Christian.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Celerina Barrera; three sons, Frankie Martinez, and Roberto and Norberto Martinez.
Survivors include her husband, Lorenzo DeLeon of McCamey; three daughters, Sallie Gomez and her husband Joe, and Norma Martinez, all of McCamey, and Lisette Cruz of Houston; five sons, Luis Martinez and his wife Enedina of McCamey, Hector Martinez and his wife Stacy, Johnny DeLeon and his wife Patsy all of Odessa, Joe Angel DeLeon and his wife Samantha, and Gabriel DeLeon and his wife Romie Rodriguez, all of McCamey; her father, Didio Barrera of Odessa; her sister, Ervina Reyes of Odessa; 28 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
