Alfren âFrankâ Heredia, 77, Odessa and formerly of Crane, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017, at his home in Odessa.
Rosary will be said at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Crane. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at the Good Sheppard Catholic Church in Crane with Father Kumar Jujjuvarapu officiating. Burial will follow in the Crane County Cemetery with arrangements under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Frank was born on April 14, 1940, in Imperial, Texas. He had lived in Crane most all of his life, and had lived in Odessa the past 13 years.
He was a retired truck driver for Trey and was a member of the Good Shephard Catholic Church. In his younger days he loved to play baseball. Frank enjoyed cooking outside, going to flea markets, and most of all he loved his family and spending time with them.
Frank was preceded in death by his first wife, Otilia Heredia on October 31, 2001; and his son, Frankie Heredia on September 2, 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Rosa Heredia of Odessa; two sons, Edward Heredia and his wife Micaela of Crane and Roy Heredia and his wife Jennifer of Odessa; two daughters, Marivel Murguia and her husband Salvador of Crane and Brenda Ramos and her husband Sergio of Odessa; two step sons, Raymond Chaves and his wife Brenda and Paul Chaves and his wife Dottie, all of Odessa; a step daughter, Reisa M. Ramos and her husband Jason of Odessa; his brother, Julian Heredia of Crane; a sister, Alvesa Rodriguez of Odessa; 18 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
