Alan Cedillo, 24, of Crane, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 in Odessa.

Rosary will be held at 7pm on Friday, August 10, 2012 at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Crane. Funeral Mass will be held at 1pm on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Father Laurent Mvondo officiating. Burial will follow in the Crane County Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Orlando Barriga, Marcos Rodriguez, Jesse Cruz, Junior Garcia, Nolan Henderson, and Shane McMeans.

Alan was born on June 18, 1988 in Odessa. He was in the Army Reserves. He was a combat veteran, having served in Afghanistan. Alan had lived in Crane most of his life. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan. He was very smart, and outgoing, always smiling. He was a Catholic.

Survivors include his father, Jose Cedillo of Odessa; his mother and step father, Oralia Dominguez and Jaime Sanchez, of Crane; his sister, Laura Cedillo of Crane; his brother, Daniel Dominguez of Odessa; grandparents, Jose and Herminia Cedillo of Del Rio; and Eduardo and Francisca Dominguez of Crane; nieces, Ivory Dungan and Emerie Solis both of Crane, and Faithlyn Dominguez of Odessa; aunts and uncles, Sylvia Guerrero of Del Rio, Leobardo Cedillo of Odessa, Jesus Cedillo of Fort Worth, Aracely Arranaga of Fort Worth, Laura Cedillo of Del Rio, Gerardo Cedillo of Fort Worth, Olivia Pacheco of McCamey, Olga Dominguez, and Ofelia Dominguez, both of Crane; and numerous cousins.
